Review
The A/V Machinist Collective is proud to present Cristian Guzman Cardona’s daily online comic strip Franc y los demas. You can follow the series @ Candidoculto.tumblr.com
After some absence, The Machinist Ensemble returns to the stage at El Festival de la Palabra, Puerto Rico 2010. This will be a 5 day long cultural shindig which focuses primarily on literature but includes many artistic expressions, such as film, music, and photography. On the experimental side if things, Giratoriogroup is in charge of almost 12 hours of music and we’ve been invited to participate along with our good friends in Tach.de, Campo Formio, and Stone Tape. Also, our friend Joel Cintron from Post-Data will be joining fellow noise makers to form a AHD/Puntito Siniestro/Imperio Invisible concoction.
Make sure to check back with us for a review of the show and videos and… stuff.
We were invited to play with Unidos No and Ron Calavera… very nice jam. Photos by Ramón “Moncho” Beltrán and Post Data
…The Machinist Ensemble will be representing the collective with sonic contributions from Pachy, Danny, Joythief, and myself (ensemble veterans) and Hector “Stone Tape” Hernandez will be joining us so we can enjoy some electronic experimentation.
Pedro Hernandez (unrelated to Hector…that I know of) will be in charge of our visuals…
UPDATE: Photos HERE
We will have a presentation on the 23rd of October @ La Respuesta. This with be our first multi-medium event including Installations, Short Films and Music. It will be Free of Charge (gratis) but we will happily accept your generous donations. With lots and lots of effort we’ll have a great show where there’ll be plenty of goodies for everyone’s taste.
First i would like to thank Lenin Garcia, Marcos Pechio, Themis Garcia and Marcela Otero for making great artwork to promote this show…
